Art on a Bottle- 2

Hello again :)
This is another Art on a bottle I did this week......
You might remember the earlier DIY Art on a bottle post with the tutorial, that I
uploaded a few months back......
The process is similar but the design....way different!!!
Here's the bottle for you to see.....

So, getting back to the basics.....
This was a beer bottle, that I painted gold......

Then, I did some One- stroke painting on it.....
You can see some in my earlier post One Stroke Painting on Totes....

I also embellished the design a bit, with 3D Outliners (puffy paint)......
Here are some photos for you, to show the details.....

Finally, I capped the bottle with an acrylic crystal Hibiscus.....

I am planning to make more of these.....
This not just recycling....
For me, its a process where something beautiful is born out of junk.....
Sorta like the Ugly Duckling ;)
Hope you enjoyed it....
Thanks for visiting and keep coming for more......

DIY Flower Light - Recycle Craft

Hello there.....
How do you like this pretty little Flower Light????
Adorable...Isn't it???

DIY Flower Light

This Light is made from the top of a water gallon.....Surprised????
Yes, it really is a plastic bottle top!!!!

Flower Light DIY Tutorial

I cut it with scissors and then colored it like a dainty flower.....
When it was completely dry, I inserted a small LED tea light in its bottom....

DIY Gond painting on a T-shirt

T-Shirt painting
Gond Painting
Welcome to my latest work.
Recently i bought this gorgeous denim-blue colored t-shirt which was plain on the front.

I didn't want to wear it plain, so i decided to spruce it up with some artwork...
I had come across this beautiful gond painting design on the net sometime back and was itching to use it somewhere, so i decided to put this Indian folk art on my tee for everyone to see....hey that rhymed ;)
Anyways, i pulled out my fabric paints and fine brushes and got down to it.
Made a few tweaks to the original intricate pattern....and used a little 3d outliner (puffy paints) for the finishing touches.....
I love to add something of my own to anything that i make....and there it was!!
My cute little peacock pair on my favorite tee!!!
Hope you like it as much as i do :)
